Australia Post honours King Charles III’s 75th birthday stamp collection

Australia’s Post is commemorating King Charles III’s 75th Birthday in Australia with a new stamp collection, including three special edition stamps honouring the new head of the Commonwealth.

The collection includes two stamps marking the King’s 75th birthday (14 November) and a third stamp highlighting the King’s coronation.

The first, a black-and-white stamp from 1966, captures a young Prince Charles arriving in Sydney, embarking on a journey of education and personal growth. The second, from 2018, showcases His Majesty seated at his desk, symbolising a lifetime of duty and leadership. The third and final in the collection features the official coronation portrait of the King along with the official coronation emblem.

The new stamp collection serves as a tribute to his dedication to service, education, and the betterment of society. This is the first time King Charles III has appeared on an Australia Post stamp since his coronation. The collection encapsulates the essence of King Charles III’s legacy, embodying his continued commitment to tradition and progress.

The King Charles III stamp collection is on sale now at participating Post Offices, via mail order on 1800 331 794 and online while stocks last. For more information visit
